Tree Removal

Whether you have a hazardous tree that needs to be removed for safety concerns or a tree that may be in the way of a future addition to your home, we can help. There are many possible reasons tree removal may be necessary and it can be a stressful decision for a variety of reasons. We are here to get you through the process safely and efficiently and with the peace of mind that you have some of the most experienced and professional arborists on the front range working with you from start to finish.

Pruning

Quality pruning practices are one of the cornerstones of Arboriculture. When cared for properly, trees can have a very positive influence on a landscape and our lives. By listening to our clients and determining their goals and what they desire in a landscape, we can tailor our pruning recommendations to help accomplish your goals in a responsible manner.  Improper pruning techniques can cause lifelong problems just as proper pruning can enhance the overall benefits trees are able to provide. We want you to love your trees as much as we do!

Stump Grinding

If you have stumps from previously removed trees/shrubs or we just performed a removal for you we can take care of that. Grinding those stumps out allows you to replant or simply reclaim that area of your yard for whatever you would like.

Tree planting

We offer tree and shrub planting as well. Just had a tree removed or maybe you're looking to add some color, shade or some variety to your landscape, we can help!

Milling

At Big Leaf, we like to think green and with that comes responsible and beneficial uses of resources and by-products. When we remove a tree for whatever reason, we like to utilize what we can. We have a mobile mill and when the jobsite and trees allow us to salvage the logs we can turn them into useful lumber. We also have a rather extensive supply of local tree species/locally sourced lumber. We can also mill on-site. Inquire about these products and services

plant health care

Fertilizing and pest control are a vital part of maintaining a landscape. Whether you need to treat a tree for insects or disease, or simply want to improve longevity and vitality of landscape plants,  Big Leaf Industries can help. We take an individual approach to each yard and the plants within that landscape knowing that not all problems are created equal. Whenever possible we avoid using unnecessary pesticides and chemicals. Quite frequently, improving soil health is all most landscape plants need to thrive. Overuse of broad spectrum pesticides is often unnecessary. We promote a more targeted approach to each pest as well as looking deeper into the problem. Can it be solved by simply improving soil conditions by mulching or introducing bacteria and fungi as well as responsible fertilizing which in turn helps the plant? Quite often the answer is yes. Our goal is to provide sustainable and environmentally responsible options to manage your landscapes and urban forest.
